Which means he's also played the 2nd most games for the German national team, only exceeded by Lothar Matthäus. Miroslav Klose is probably the most underrated worldclass (and always fair sportsman) striker of this still young century.

What I really like about Klose is the way he improved on his overall skills and capability over his long career. He was a way much better striker in 2006 World Cup vs he just showed up in 2002 WC. If he started his WC career from 2010 or 2014, Germany for sure will have more than one WC and zero EC

How? He has 30+ years of training mostly everyday and these guys trained maybe 1 or 2 times per week irregularly for example for 1 year.

GREAT strikers have that change of pace that buys them time. And the clinical finish that comes from ice cool temperament. Miroslav was the one all England fans feared, because we knew he was special.

His technical abilities and his pressing intelligence would have made it easy for him to transform intro an amazing attacking midfielder after he started loosing the pace and physicality necessary to play as a striker

Tiene un record de 280 goles en 705 partidos en toda su carrera, muy lejos de otras grandes figuras para ser un delantero de area!
No, te equivocas totalmente. No marcaba muchísimos goles porque jugaba mucho por el equipo, pero tecnícamente era un grandísimo jugador y nunca dejo que desear. Hacía marcar y ayudaba el equipo, era muy completo. Decir que su rendimiento general en clubes dejo que desear, es literalmente basar la opinión en los goles y no el las prestaciones. O no lo viste jugar mucho. Klose es un gran campeón.
